Hey  All,

    Sitting back with a cup of tea and a nice winter cold that was nice enough to wait to hit until after all of the Holiday craziness this year.  The new years eve show was lots of fun.  Thanks to the fine folks at Bobby Hudpuckers for helping Chris Mattoon and I throw a big party.  The audience was great and they danced until almost 1 a.m. and then we hung out with the staff for a while.  

   We just got back into the studio and are wasting no time recording the new album(s) hoping for late August this year.  The tracks are already sounding great.  It's pretty exciting to have new material that is really working.  We'll be debuting them as they come to fruition all through the spring so stop out to a show and let us know what you think.

   Otherwise, we're status quo here.  We'll make 2009 a great year all you have to do is come and shake your ass at a show...

Moving Along!  +  The Big Show...

We are busy trying to bring you a new project for 2008.   We have started work on 2 cds worth of new material.  There is a concept album that has been sticking to songs in my head for a long time, and it is now time to make it.  We are chipping away at the final song list and the basic tracks this winter and hopefully should be able to bring it to life for you sometime this summer.  Don't worry though...You won't have to wait until August to get your fill; Early this spring, Jack will be releasing his live album recorded at Bucksteep Manor in May...  We'll keep you posted with the details.

The big way you can enjoy Jack Waldheim this year still is to come to Jack's  NEW YEARS EVE EXTRAVAGANZA !  At Bobby Hudpucker's on North Street in Pittsfield, MA.  Jack will be joined by Chris Mattoon on his fancy stand-up drum-set.   There is no cover charge! and we promise many a surprise, nothing but dancing, good music, and a good time.  There will be costumes, there will be bubbles, and there will be a slurry of new cover songs, including 1 special and particularly unexpected one at midnight.  What a night, bring your hat and your dancing feet.  Jack will also debut his new song, "Unrequited!" which you don't want to miss.  This will be the New Years Eve party to end all New Years Eve Parties, Don't miss out.

Big News!!  The Live album is set to be released in February.  This was recorded live at Bucksteep Manor in Washington MA at the CD release party for, "On Second Thought."  That's right, we got it right the first time.  The CD features the incredible band I had with me that night, and has a few great surprises in the mix.  It was a night for the memory banks, just right for a springtime gig and the band was cooking.  The audience plays as much a part in this one as anything as the vibe in the room was loose and vibrant.  This will be the record to have.  Sign up for the mailing list to be the first to hear.
